Good Wish is Essential
Wishes, which are hypothetical, rise and set. Imagination, which is repeated again and again, becomes thought. When thought repeats, it becomes vow / solemn promise. Similarly, good conduct comes out of serious vow and in this way daily work goes on. This chain justifies, if our wish is good, healthy / pure and benevolent. Our conduct and thought are also good and healthy. That's why purity of soul and thought is essential.

Strong Imagination
Every thing is obtained through strong imagination. Only through strength of imagination, God is envisioned. Imagination is the source of knowledge, so the way through imagination is the best way.
God does not reside in any wooden or stony idols. He resides only the feelings out of devotion, love and strong belief. They are the base of accomplishing God.
Imagination is the religion of mind. It originates in it and disappears in it. Strong imaginations lead us to enthusiasm, interest, activeness and happiness. And weak imagination leads us to hopelessness and sadness.
Imagination is the main source of men's power and lack of it is the cause of his complete destruction. Purer, holier, more god -centric and stronger the imagination is, better and higher position we secure in spiritualism, and we begin our journey to subtle world of spiritualism.
Imagination is the base to activate the inner power centers and give one perfection. Only through strong imagination power, we get success in Sadhana in life.

Character Building
Can we expect the best fruit from the tree the root of which is harmed at the time of its sidling stage? To expect that it would grow into a big tree, it would be full of fruit and it would grant the pilgrims and birds fruit, shed and refuge is vain. The building on weak foundation might fall anytime. Even little shock shakes its existence.
Same thing happens in human life. The adolescents at the very stage get spoilt and become unhealthy and incapable in the year to come. They become unfit to lead conjugal life and social life. They can not bear responsibilities for the society and the nation. Before maturity they fall in the swamp of lust. It is the breach of the law of nature.
We have heard of balanced, sacred and disciplined conjugal life in the periods of great sages in the past. The family life was not polluted which created conducive atmosphere for the character building of children. Learning took place far away from the hustle and bustle of town in the hermitages on the lap of Mother Nature. The rules used to be rigid and useful. They were good for physical, mental, spiritual and, emotional development of a child. Contrary activities would be strictly prohibited. Rishis of the Gurukul were teachers. Their personal life and characters would be clean. Restraint, rules and discipline were the part of their daily life. The subjects taught were not simply useful but they would make them realize truth, glory and the knowledge of the supreme element. Besides Veda, Upanishad and other scriptures they were also given knowledge on politics, health, practical life etc.
Taught in this manner when they reached their maturity their personality would shine like the sun. The perfectly healthy, civilized and learned adolescents were the foundation round which the whole society and the state would go round systematically. Women bred in such sacredness had capability to give birth to worthy citizen.
Constraining life in such discipline the way the generations were fed and taught laboriously were not meaningless. Sages were involved in constructing children. There was world welfare sentiment behind this attempt. They knew that if the generations were not constructed laboriously like that they would be destroyed, they would take wrong path, and along with the destruction of themselves they would push down the society and the state.
The same thing happened later. Abdicating the sacred ancient tradition the young generation of today has spoilt them and has obstructed the course of development of the nation.
What a misery the society is facing in absence of self restraint! There is no value and respect for the family discipline. The face of a nation and the world can be changed if the young generation is saved from such wrong habits and behaviors.
Development and creation can not be imagined if the youths are not disciplined. Only the disciplined youths can think and work for the wellbeing of a family and a nation. So if the youths are given the education of discipline in life a state can go ahead on the path of systematic development. If they are led along the right path the future generation would take righteous path too. As a result similar to the age of the sages the robust and capable thinkers will again plough , water with labor and nurture the flower of life value.

The Powerful Self-Esteemed Human Life
A tiger is a tiger as long as it hunts its prey itself. Otherwise it is a jackal that eats what other has killed. In the same way a man lives in his society with his might , wisdom, courage and greatness or lives as lazy, deceitful , dacoit, and the one who feels envio0us and dies. Those unindustrious live extravagantly until they spoil all the wealth earned by their parents. Then they lead pathetic life. In reality men have unlimited potentiality. With a single will and commitment they turn into divinity and saints and with their dilemma and fragmented will they possess negative qualities like laziness deceitfulness, demon hood. They don’t give happiness to others nor do they to themselves.
He who has no self esteem has no right to become a man. He is a brute in the form of a man and is living as a burden to the earth.
Hindu scriptures states-a man who has no knowledge, no feeling of giving and sacrificing and no other virtues are brutes in the form of man and he is only a burden. so those who dig their path themselves and walk along are great .if you do so others will follow you . Only ordinary beings take the path dug by others. You are not brutes, nor are you an ordinary man. You are the one with extraordinary talent and potentiality. Therefore we should realize our potency, skills and capability and dig a path for the society. Your success glitters in your confidence, courage, and reliability. Human history has proved this many times and it is full of such great persons of ages they proved their greatness in every touchstone. King Janak, sita, Ram, guru Sankaracharya guru Gorakhnath, all great saints dug their path themselves and led others along.
We are enjoying what others have earned for us. Rather let’s do something for our parents and others. let’s serve them. Seeing this, parents and others become happier than you. Have you not got the zeal to prove your bravery, courage industry? If the answer is yis start to dig the path from today and now for which you feel proud. However it is not so easy . it is not impossible either. Had our forefathers and great saints of the past not had courage to invent new things , there would not be anything in the world . so lets gather our force to go ahead . success is certain. We can follow some tips for success.
Believe in work not in fate :
Fate is closed in a hardworking person’s fist. People living on fate are passive and lazy. Fate is the currency that is earned with the sadhana of hard work. What fate we write depends on what we do .Men write their fates with their own pen of activeness .Deceitful lazy people point to the god as the author of the fate. But the god has given us everything equally. Men create their fate themselves on the basis of their action, courage and persistence. We are the maker of our own fate.
Never forget the god :
We should not forget the god nor should we challenge his sovereignty. We should rather take the god as witness of our every action and go ahead towards the supreme goal of life. Remember that the god is always the lover of just, impartiality and kindness. He gives fruit to every person who does action. One works and he does not get good result –such has never happened .For different reasons it might be delayed but we should have patience , and continue to work persistently with the god in mind because we know –
We win if the mind wins
All wishes come true
If zeal and joys are stored in mind.
There are many who get hopeless in a singular failure but they do not realize the weakness that leads to failure. Reforming weakness we should go ahead and should not minimize our enthusiasm .we should hold patience because we reach the goal if we walk.
Have rigid faith :
To keep enthusiasm refreshed we should have rigid belief because enthusiasm is founded on self confidence. Being rigid on the path of our action we should have firm determination thinking that the work was created for our success. This gives us perfection.
Have clean attitude :
Men with wrong attitude do not get success in making their own path .They consume their time and energy in deceiving and possessing other’s properties. They never understand the mystery of life and die in regret. They spend more time in anger, jealousy, conflict, and agitation. Instead of setting a goal they keep on changing their path. So with the witness of the god we should go forward with clean attitude. Let’s never think wrongly, behave wrongly, and speak wrongly about others. Let’s deal rightly with others .Only then we get success.
If we take the above mentioned points seriously and search our aim of life we will surely make our own path and success is not a long way. Such great work and success make us popular globally like Gautam Buddha.

Duty
Duties can be roughly classified into four types:
1) duties to body,
2) duties to family or relatives,
3) duties to society or nation, and
4) duties to soul for realization its relation to the supersoul.
Before going or working to perform other duties (2-4), a person has to keep oneself fit or healthy. One has to manage food and clothes, shelter and treatment too. Until one has managed these basic needs for himself/herself, she/he cannot support others, cannot perform other duties. One hungry husband cannot love his wife; a sick mother cannot take care of her children, a ragged person who does not have enough clothes may feel inferiority in the society and cannot contribute for his society. Every individual has to use part of his/her time to manage minimum of resources, which is necessary to save the body, to keep the mind sound and to live in a sane manner. The philosophies or religions also approve your engagement to fulfill these basic necessities.
However, meaning of human life, for which it is given, is broader than it. You cannot be so selfish; while fulfilling your personal necessities, you cannot ignore the necessities of the members of your families. While you are struggling for food that means for your entire family, while you are thinking for clothes or house that |
is also for the entire family. Besides, you have been married to a person, a husband or wife, has been chosen as a life partner. You have obligation to your partner, you should take care of your partner; you should create the atmosphere in which your partner's personality grows up and develops. Besides, there are your children, who deserve your attention for their growth. You can play and talk with them, give counseling, and manage the facilities for their education and health; and of course, you should ensure that they are cultured. There are your parents, who had and have dreams for you, who have contributed to grow you physically and psychologically as per their capacity and efficiency.
Similarly, your sisters, brothers, kith and kins also deserve your attention. They deserve your support and encouragement as per your ability. You cannot be passive or aloof from your responsibilities to them. You are a dutiful gardener of your family and relatives.
Moreover, every person can be taken as a fish of a social milieu. Everyday, we have to make interactions with the different elements of a society. If our surroundings is corrupt, it certainly affects the quality of our life too. The fish (person) inside a poisonous pond (society) cannot survive and grow properly, to the full dimension. Society is made out of the contribution of its members. A prosperous or cultured society returns you more than you have contributed. Every society or country goes ahead from the contribution of its member-citizens. The relation between individual and the community is reciprocal. Social duty of citizens cannot be taken as less important than bodily and familial ones.
Above all is our responsibility to our creator. The creator is the one, who created our body, filled it with prana, energy and consciousness, supplied with hundreds and thousands of varieties of food and clothes, gave senses to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the world. The human body is rare and a human capacity is unlimited. The creator wants us to use our efficiency to purify and develop our soul. The more our soul is purified, the more confidence we gain, more fearless we become, the wider our horizon becomes, the closer we are with the God and reality. Then, the more wonderful becomes our living.

Tradition
Good and evil exist everywhere; they are like two sides of a coin. A community has both positive and negative practices. There are such traditions, which can be labeled as conservative or narrow minded. There are some people who are cunning or wicked. These traditions seem to be related to politics or religion...
At the same time, a community also preserves and continues some good practices as well. The society has sufficient rooms for honest, liberal and hardworking people. In every community, we can notice generous people, who are cooperative who are willing to do some exemplary works for others; we can find people who are role-models. There are people who can guide and inspire others out of their sacrifice and conscientiousness.
Which influences you, whether good or evil is a personal choice. You can be influenced by goodness or wickedness. The evil in the society is not so powerful that can force you to follow it. The evil and its practices can be avoided and resisted by an individual at least upto the present era. If one is influenced by bad practices or traditions of a society, you cannot blame the society. The individual should be blamed because it is your choice there were other good options as well.
It means the best and the worst of works take place at the same community. If one is courageous enough to take the side of truth, to move in the ideal path, she or he is certainly recognized by the community in the long run. In the beginning, it may not be very easy. We have the whole of history with us. Buddha, Shankaracharya and Christ were alone in the beginning. But they personally were not discouraged from being alone; they were determined. They continued their ways. In the course of time, many people followed them. Even after thousands of years, they are being remembered, they are being worshiped; they have become idols. The message they had given is still relevant. They took the bright side of their societies. They did not care the negativism and criticism. After all, they became the setters of faiths and traditions. This means that traditions can be set and established. The good in the society can be consolidated and strengthened by individual. You are also potential to establish other good traditions in your country.

Success
Success doesn't blossom without effort. It is the reaction of activeness. The activeness doesn't rise without cause ,either. The strong inspiration of will power works behind it. To simplify the fact in other words the order of will power to action, action to means and means to environment has been set in motion.
God knows who have dream of what achievement. Imagination is useful but only to the extent to give one direction. He can not attain a thing willed only through imagination. He or she should manage means and create favorable situation. He or She should do the highly daring deed. The courage of proceeding ahead tirelessly and undefeatedly with readiness to face hardship in every step of life makes us capable to achieve the highest goal. Favorable situations are attained in the cost of sufficient labor and with the assistance of which the probability of success becomes visible. This depends on tireless struggle and determination filled with courage. Determination is the courage to keep up and fight in adverse situations for long. The situation to fulfill one's wishes is created not through imagination but through determination.
It is better to evaluate the present situation and make a plan which is possible to be accomplished today and now by the available means than to have super imagination. It is not difficult to extend imagination along with the extension of means. The goal is achieved at every step. The higher goals only create surprise, not success. Critically evaluate the imaginations and mould them accordingly with the present situation. Think carefully of vice and virtue and probable and improbable. To accomplish the decision made with all conscience examining both sides carefully if we get ready for daring deed and courage it is possible that the tree of success will sure blossom and gives fruit.

Go Ahead, Rise Up
The best utility of human life lies in two ways-the first one is in changing our virtues and actions in harmony with its value and in purifying it by removing the piled up vicious disposition of mind. And the second one is in giving way to development of divine virtues, which makes human life worthy to live. This spiritual development is admission to spiritualism in true sense. Penance and yoga is practiced for this. We take refuge in the yoga of knowledge, the yoga of karma and the yoga of devotion only for this. The philosophy of essence and the scriptures of any religions were created only for this.
The climax to spiritualism is achieved as we absorb Sadhana, self-study, patience and service to others. We have been free from beast form, which is a great |
success but it does become complete here. It is required to practice hearty attempt to illumine the human value. We ought to struggle bravely for understanding, sincerity, responsibility and righteous goal. If this does not happen we should understand that the irony is over us. Within there are boastful dispositions. It is rooted in our contemplation, character and behavior. As thirst, lust and ego are established as tutelary god we should be sure that brutality is overpowering, human only in form. With mask, outfit and ornaments the true being is veiled and one is shown for other. Those who have down ward thoughts, selfishness in character humbleness in day to day life practice and has sacrificed the sentiments of service, have nothing other than the ambition to express greed, haughtiness and pride too have the same situation. As the human form is obtained the inner nature should also have been the same and if he or she is beast by nature from heel to head it would be reasonable if he had body of a beast so that there would be uniformity in inner nature and his appearance. He should have registered his name in the file of human-beast and should have expected the level in accordance with his present situation and potentiality.
Men are obviously the offspring of apes. Men void of any ideology are called ape-men or jungle men the foremost men are pictured as such. Some men still spend wild life in forest. They are ridiculed and men laugh at their foolishness or express their surprise at them. They are supposed to be unfortunate. The so called learned people too have the same situation as they never realize their duty and responsibilities as a creature born in such a high class of all living beings. If neglected more human life becomes more unfortunate because animals except men are oblige to be limited in eating and reproduction as they lack any Sadhana whereas men are equipped with every means. Nevertheless, if men wander away from the main goal of life it's their own fault. It is such a deficiency that one has to recompense for the time infinite.
The things we are attached deeply and the things we suppose as our belongings are, were and will be the parts of this great world. Men are born alone and go alone. The wisest thing to do is to use them properly for the welfare. We should not have so much attachment that we feel pain in parting. We should feel that every thing and every being belongs to the God. We are given the responsibility to treat them well. We must have readiness to fulfill that. We should not exercise any rights on any things nor over any body. It is called nonattachment. It is also called the eye of knowledge. The seers of the essence have this view and they live in this world like the lotus in dirty swamp. As long as things and people are chained strongly with ownership they are load for us and they cause us to commit evil deeds. But as soon we feel them as God's belongs the desire to exercise rights over them does not rise nor do we have any attachment to them. As hostility and attachment rise moment by moment it keeps our mind in unrest.
The creator has made men's need limited but comparatively He has given us capacity to earn much more. However, we see that men's desire has no end. In this sense the whole riches of the earth might be insufficient for a single man. Ravana and Sikandar were discontented even till the end of their life. They did not stop committing any evil deeds to fulfill their greed. Still contentment was impossible for them.
God has given men more earning power than their need so that they would feel secured in some time and would spend rest of their time for the thing for which this opportunity was given. The only goal is to raise oneself and help others to raise in the course of spiritual development, to have personality and to help others to posses it. Even robbers, thieves and hypocrite can become rich. But from the point of view of personality development they are scanty. Thy feel themselves humble. Others too feel them the same. Even if the facts are concealed behind a curtain they are revealed. The scents are not stopped as we wrap asafetida by a piece of cloth. Goodness and generosity are revealed in one's character unannounced but the stink of wickedness spread far and wide giving notice of its presence and it affects the whole environment. Illiberal selfish people are always neglected and disliked. They do not have a genuine friend. They are isolated. They have no one to support nor are they useful to any one. For those who can not have patience to maintain their ideology and courage to show generosity it is impossible to possess personality and good character. It is not possible for them to be ideal and to transmit the message into others.
There is only one base of progress, prosperity, peace and happiness in the world- sincerity to goodness of character the superiority of personality. In its absence it is not possible for any one to make their personality glorious and energetic. So there is only one way out- let's spend as much time, effort, and skill as we need to remain alive. The rest surplus should be used for something good. Let your contemplation, attempt and conduct be on the level by which inspiration to cultivate righteous disposition and grow it for oneself and others. Let the wheel of rising and helping to rise up go on uninterruptedly.

A Book Review
"A Road to Perfection"

Sadhak Pariwar is an organization active to transfer the practice established since the time immemorial by the sages saints and yogis of the past to the modern society. People take this age as the culmination of development with modern technology in the sectors of physics, medicine, transportation, communication etc. nevertheless no age in the past had been as worse as this with the loss of humanity, environment naturalness, sincerity, faithfulness cooperation understanding etc. The art, civilization, knowledge, culture and system of the Vedic age is the pride of the whole world. However, time is ever changing .The essence remaining constant, the outer covering is subjected to change in the form of progress

and development. Two things matter – truth in its purest form and the truth tinged by times. The latter appears on the surface and truth often sounds relative to people of this age. That are the reason people are so much inconstant, deviated and disoriented. Truth is always Truth. It is not relative in the way people take. There is a common ground intersected by all the religions of the world. That is the essence of any religion. Love, forgiveness, restraint, patience, penance for good cause, harmony, respect, tolerance, and so on and so forth are not foreign to people of any religion, any culture, any civilization and any nation of the world. That is the objective of any religion of the world but there is conflict t in the world on the name of religion because people are on the surface and they do not dare to delve deep down in to the ocean. They are ready to take a polished rock as diamond and missing the precious stone.
Sadhana is the device in hand that teaches you how to dive for the precious stone, how to swim in the ocean of material world and sail across it to the mysticism of spiritualism. Our ancestors discovered and constituted them every way but they are long forgotten. The venerable Gurudev Shreesadhak Satyam with has unparallel effort has now dug out the buried truth to show light to the modern dark world. He has been attempting to lead people towards the perfection free from anxiety. It is through Sadhana that he is trying to make people understand the truth.
There are numerous branches of Sadhana, several levels of sadhana and countless types. He has touched the peak of them all. Sadhana in Vedic ways are incomprehensible but Gurudev has served them all in the style that modern palate expects. Sadhana is the base of human life. Life remains incomplete without sadhana. Sadhana carried out under a genuine Gurudev's instruction is the ship that leads one across the ocean of this material world. Not only that, it also teaches one to maintain the balance of one's ship on the ocean because for the time being balance is the most important thing. If the ship loses its balance it cannot convert the dream across into reality. The balance gives joy to oneself and others. In other words, it is the balance between the spiritualism and materialism, the outer mind and the inner mind, the body and the soul, imagination and reality and fact and fancy.
As mentioned above there are several steps of sadhana, and its numerous kinds. But the best sadhana is the sadhana of love, kindness, forgiveness, and other such human behaviors. It is the beginning and the end of all goals of sadhana. Beginning, because all the doors of accomplishment of sadhana are opened only by this key and end because, there is no goal beyond the perfection of love, kindness, forgiveness etc.
A Road to Perfection by venerable GuruDev Shreesadhak Satyam in that sense is the crown of sadhana. Through simple rules and formulae it leads us towards perfection. Though sadhana in Vedic term is incomprehensible for the three quarters of the world it sounds as simple as it appears in the book because Gurudev has used modern tools to dig and pitch this road.
It has been divided into seven topics. The main part of the book begins with Shree Gurudev's elixir words. His words give a reflection over what really make men different from beasts. The second topics 'The true Guru and Disciple' illustrate the Guru- Disciple relation in real sense and the traits of genuine Guru and a genuine Disciple.
The third topic 'The Formulae to make life flourishing ' is the major part of the book. It has given fifty-one fold regulations. All fifty-one points are promising, practical, simple and concrete. The topic 'The foundation of accomplished life' begins with 'Healthy body' through social etiquettes and head towards mysticism the god. 'The obligatory Formulae for success in life' talks about personal duties. The last chapter talks about sadhana in specific sense, which gives basic idea of sadhana and gives a picture how it can assist men both in material world and the world of spiritualism.
The real sadhana begins with our day-to-day practice and the way Gurudev has made this book is amazingly simple and practicable for the people of any religion, race, sex and nation. This is the book to be attempted by every body and be assimilated to the ideas to see wonderful transformation in one's life.
